Germany! (finally!)

I have arrived in Germany. My flight from London to Stuttgart on Sunday was cancelled, but after a brief bawling session in the bathroom, I decided that all was not lost, and settled down enough to snooze a bit during the night and got a flight out the next day at noon. On the plus side, one gets a lot of time to read between cat naps, and I got through Persuasion in one day. :)

I am staying with my penpal Stefanie's family in Münchingen, just outside of Stuttgart. We went to Ulm yesterday and climbed halfway up the steeple of the cathedral there- the Ulmer Münster. That was amazing. Then we went to the Ritter Sport factory. Also amazing. :) Now I'm in Bühl, near the border of France. There is tons of snow here, I am in heaven! :)

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow...

Merry Christmas all! By this time tomorrow I will be (hopefully, weather permitting!! :/) somewhere over the Atlantic drooling on a fellow passenger's shoulder. Gross but likely true. As you can see, I have everything I will need for the next month an a half...

What's that you say? Clothes? Oops, I guess I may need some other things too...

I must say, adventures are rather, well, adventurous, but think I was quite mad when I decided to do this crazy thing! I shall miss everyone so much, and I'm none too excited to leave my adorable 5 day old niece!

Okay, off to get my last good night's sleep in my own bed!

" step into the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to!"

Well, here I am doing what I swore I'd never do. Writing a blog. It's going to be terrible. But perhaps no one will read it anyway, which would be advisable.

However, I am about to go away for a very long time (a month is a long time for me, okay?!), and I wanted to be able to share my adventures with you. I suppose "you" would be any blokes who decided to disregard the above disclaimer, which would make you very lovely friends indeed. :P

I am leaving in 22 days for Europe. Stuttgart, London, then Paris. I hope you will be diverted by my ramblings to come!
